A Berry College liberal arts education incorporates intellectual engagement, service to others and firsthand work experiences. This enables students to live responsible, productive and creative lives in a dramatically changing world.
It requires students to understand the foundations of knowledge and inquiry about nature, culture and society; master core skills of perception, analysis and expression; cultivate a respect for truth; recognize the importance of historical and cultural context; and explore connections among formal learning, citizenship and service to their communities.
